Our Story
Founded in 1999, Mekong Cruises became known for blending adventure and serenity along one of Asia's most storied rivers.
In 2020, the global pandemic brought operations to a halt. During those years of silence, the Luang Say Lodge in Pakbeng underwent a gentle transformation — its elegant rooms refreshed, its organic garden revived, ready once more to welcome weary travellers.
Now, in 2025, Mekong Cruises is embarking on a new chapter. The boats are back on the water, the Lodge is open, and the river awaits.
This is more than a reopening — it is a rebirth.
